Vanish Mode Explained: How to turn on/off the new Vanish mode on Instagram
Facebook-owned Instagram is now rolling out Vanish Mode for users globally and those on the latest version of the app would be able to see the feature. The Vanish Mode lets users send messages that disappear automatically.
Step 1. Go to the Play Store or App Store to ensure that your Instagram app is updated
Step 2. Open Instagram and scroll over to the conversation you want to enable Vanish Mode.
Step 3. On selecting the conversation, users can swipe up on the chat to enable the Vanish Mode.
Step 4. After turning on the Vanish Mode, users can enter into a private conversation, which can be erased.
How to disable Vanish Mode:
Step 1. Swipe up from the bottom of the chat to disable the mode
Step 2. Users can tap the option for the vanish mode on the top of the screen to turn off the mode.
Users can switch between Vanish Mode in a conversation. The users can send messages and photos and videos back and forth. However, all messages would disappear the moment they have been seen. Users can share private info through this mode and then switch back to normal chat.
