We all know Google gives us great stuff, right? Well, today, it brought some cool new features! Let’s talk about them:

Google Photos
Gboard
Google TV

Photo

Photos started in 2015 to store and share photos and videos online. With a Google account, you can upload your stuff and view it on different devices. Here’s how you can do it: To log in, Google Photos

Now, Google has added a cool new feature, Portrait Blur, to Google Photo!

Portrait Blur

The Portrait blur feature, once only for Google One and others, now works for more things like pets, food, and plants. Before, it only blurred people. Now, you can blur the background of a photo even after you take it.

Photos Storage

Google announced last year that it is ending free unlimited storage for users. Starting June 1, 2021, any new photos and videos you upload on Photos will count towards the free 15 GB of storage you get with every Google Account or any extra storage you bought as a Google One member. This 15 GB, or whatever extra you purchased, is shared between Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos.

You can manage this by going to Account Settings in Google Photo> Back up and Sync settings> Manage Storage.

Google’s tool will let you review large files and emails taking up space and tell you exactly how much space you will save when you delete these photos, videos, and emails.

Gboard

Gboard is a Google virtual keyboard, a smartphone and tablet typing app that features include glide typing, search emojis, spell correction, GIFs, and many more.

Go to Play Store> Gboard > Download > open

Open the app > select the Gboard Keyboard and Click on OK
Finally, you will get a Gboard keyboard on the screen.

Grammar Correction

Gboard grammar correction will correct your spelling and grammar as you type.

Click on Settings > Text Correction > Ensure that Auto Corrections and Spell Checking should be ON.

Emoji Kitchen

Google has also acquired the emoji kitchen feature, which lets you convert more than 2000 emoji combinations into stickers.

Click on GIF > Search emoji according to your choice

Translator

Gboard also allows us to translate our message from one language to another so that people can type according to their Comfort.

Click on Translator Button > type according to the required language and select from the list.

Google TV

The platform launched by Google where your voice is your remote

Google TV Launched first on the Chromecast with Google TV
In 2021, Sony confirmed that it would offer Google TV on its new Bravia XR television range, which will be launched.
The Google TV app is also live for Android phone users
